New Laws Passed in Spain for Second Home Owners.
The Spanish government has released new laws regarding second homes in Spain. Presently all home owners are eligible for Tax relief on any properties they own. As from 2011, any body purchasing property as a second home will not receive the same tax benefits.
If you have already purchased property before this date, you will continue to receive the Tax benefits you have. This seems to be a push from the Spanish government to start the property market ticking. With Spanish economic growth heavily based on this market, the dramatic decline in property sales has played and continues to play a huge role in the economy. If the government can kick start this industry, it would definitely be a massive help to end the Crisis.
